Miranda and Kanon.
Miranda is a character in the A Little Snow Fairy Sugar series. She is Kanon's mother and Regina's best friend. When she is busy, Miranda sometimes requests her friend Regina and Saga to babysit her daughter for her. She also enjoys piano.
Miranda had Kanon three years prior to the start of the series, sometime within the same year Saga's own mother passed away. Saga initially didn't remember who Kanon was, but when told about the name "Miranda", Saga recalled her visiting with a baby, only to realize the baby was the now three-year-old Kanon sitting next to her. Miranda's daughter asked a favor of Saga to teach her how to play piano so that when she returned to pick her up from babysitting later, she could play a song for her. Regina explained how Kanon had wanted to play a song for her mom because Miranda loved the piano, but was always busy with work. With Saga's help, Kanon successfully played a song on Saga's toy piano, leaving Miranda surprised and touched by her daughter's present. During the moment, Saga reminisced about learning to play the piano with her own mother. Miranda thanked them for watching her, and later continues having Saga and Regina watch her on occasion.
